A Eunice man has been convicted on one count of forcible rape and two counts of simple rape. Stephan Bergeron was indicted on the charges in 2009. It took a St. Landry Parish Jury returned its verdict at 6:00 this morning--eight hours after it began deliberating. Bergeron faces a possible maximum sentence of 105 years in prison.
