Eunice Man Charged with Hitting DOTD Truck with Cup of Coke

A Eunice man is in jail on charges he threw a cup of Coke at a DOTD vehicle. Police say the truck was traveling along LA 13 when Lucas Kelly passed it in his SUV and tossed the styrofoam cup at it. Officials say the cup hit the DOTD truck and, because the windows were down, splattered soda on the driver and the car's interior. Kelly is charged with simple battery, criminal mischief, and littering.
