Eunice Man Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Ex with Skillet

A Eunice man is in jail after he allegedly tried to hit his ex-girlfriend with an electric skillet. Eunice police say they broke up a fight between the suspect, Chance Ceasar, and his girlfriend early Friday night. Officials say the girlfriend called them two hours later saying Ceasar had broken into her house and tried to hit her with the cookware. Police say they found Ceasar a few blocks away with the weapon in his hands. He faces, among other charges, home invasion and aggravated assault.
