Police say a Eunice man beat his fiancee, dumped her, then came back two hours later and abducted her on Saturday morning.
Eunice Police are charging 46-year-old Chad Broussard with domestic abuse battery, false imprisonment, resisting an officer and obstruction of justice.
The victim told police her and Broussard had argued and he beat her before throwing her out of a vehicle.
Two hours later, the victim's sister called police saying Broussard had returned and forced his way into the victims' mother's apartment where the victim was staying. Police say Broussard threw the victim over his shoulder and carried her to his own apartment in the same complex.
Eunice Police say when they arrived, they were forced to break-down the door where they arrested Broussard and found the victim unconscious.
According to reports, the victim is still hospitalized.
