Eunice Cops Cracking Down on Crime

In Eunice, some locals say lately their towns seems a bit more peaceful.
Chief Ronald Dies with Eunice Police Department says he and his officers are raising the bar when it comes to cracking down on crime.
There are still a few months left in this year and officers have already made more felony arrests than they did last year.
From January 2010 to to June 2010, 75 felony arrests were made.
And from July 2010 to December 2010, 64 felony arrests were made which brings a total of 139 felony arrests made in 2010.
As for this year, in the first six months of 2011,154 felony arrests were made.
