Ernesto strengthened during the morning hours. Shear appears to have diminished and now deep convection is bettered defined surrounding the center. There is a good chance intensification could increase up to landfall near Belize, Mexico sometime Wednesday. The subtropical ridge has weakened, yet models are suggesting it will not weaken enough to allow a NW turn from earlier tracks. Ernesto could become a hurricane by tonight as environment are favorable. Now, activity continues to track WNW over the Caribbean Sea. Maximum sustained winds at 65mph.
Environmental conditions for Florence have become less favorable as the activity becomes a post-tropical remnant low. For now, last advisory has been put out from the NHC, unless needed no more updates.
Another area of cloudiness forming off the coast of Africa. Could be the next tropical topic of interest.
