Erath student threats unfounded

Parents in Erath concerned about a student threatening other students can calm their fears. According to Vermilion Parish School Superintendent Randy Schexnayder, the claims are unfounded and are based on rumor. School administrators and Erath Police have investigated and have found none of the claims are true. Authorities are trying to find out who started the rumor, and if it's a student, he or she will be disciplined, Schexnayder said.
