Erath Man Accused of Growing Marijuana

VERMILION PARISH- This week, Detectives with Louisiana State Police assisted by the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force arrested an Erath man for allegedly growing marijuana plants.

State Police say earlier this week detectives received information which indicated that 61-year-old Terry Lambert of Erath was growing marijuana at his home in Erath. After receiving the information, Detectives went to Lambert's home in the 6000 block of Aristide Road in Erath. Authorites say detectives were able to locate and seize over 30 marijuana plants as well as processed marijuana.

Lambert was arrested without incident and booked into the Vermilion Parish Jail for cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana.

This case remains under investigation.
