SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A civilian employee of the Shreveport
Police Department's Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance Office has been
arrested for allegedly stealing application fees.
The Times reports Leslie Clark was booked Monday with felony
theft of $2,800.
Authorities say Clark's arrest was the result of an audit of the
Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance Office.
Clark, who was hired by the department in September of 2002,
resigned from her position on Friday.
