NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Emeril Lagasse has kicked off his latest promotion featuring a dish cooked up by a student at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts.
For the month of March, Emeril's restaurants in New Orleans, Las Vegas and Orlando will feature the dish created by 18-year-old JaneÃ© Taylor.
The dish, "Louisiana Surf and Turf," features a grilled rib eye, seafood mashed potatoes and Cajun crab-boiled asparagus. While the dish is on the menu, $5 from each sale will be donated to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation to support culinary arts education.
