Officials in St. Landry Parish are working to get families back on their feet and in their homes after recent flooding. The emergency food and cleaning supply drive takes place this at the Delta Grand Theater today after an extreme loss in many homes in the parish. City officials say the parish is still struggling after the recent flooding received in the parish in the last week and has created problem for a lot of the residents. Items donated will go the parish community action agency. You can drop off non-perishable food items and canned goods, cleaning supplies, like mops, sponges, paper towels, buckets and cleansers like bleach and disinfectants. Donors can drop off items at St.Landry Parish Health Units in two locations in Eunice and Sunset or until 4p.m. at the Delta Grand Theater.
