Elton Teen Killed by Train

A horrifying scene Saturday morning in Jeff Davis Parish after a teenager is killed by a train. It happened around 10 o'clock near Elton, off Liberty Cemetery Road.
Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff Ricky Edwards tells KATC the westbound Union Pacific train struck the Ford Ranger pickup in a private drive.
19 year old Josh Bertrand of Elton was killed. An investigation is underway.
