The Catholic Press Association has honored a book about a Lafayette special-needs child as the Book of the Year by a Small Publisher in the United States.
Chad Judice won the award for his book ELI'S REACH: ON THE VALUE OF HUMAN LIFE AND THE POWER OF PRAYER. The book follow's Judice and his son, Eli, and describes how Eli's struggle with spinal bifida has touched the lives and has returned faith to those that he has met.
The book, released last fall, is the sequel to WAITING FOR ELI: A FATHER'S JOURNEY FROM FEAR TO FAITH.
