Elderly Shreveport man attacked in home

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Police are searching for suspects in an alleged home invasion that injured an elderly Shreveport man.
Shreveport police say the 72-year-old homeowner was taken to a local hospital to be treated for head injuries that weren't believed to be life-threatening.
A woman who said she went to the home to check on the homeowner Sunday morning told police she saw at least two men run away from the area near the home.
The suspects weren't immediately identified by investigators.
