Egan Native Humble a Finalist for Rhodes Scholarship

A native of Egan is a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship. Stewart Humble, an alumus of LSU, is one of 16 finalists from the district that includes Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas. Humble graduated in May with a degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry. He is currently working at the Volunteer Health Corps in Baton Rouge. Humble will undergo one final interview Friday before learning Saturday if he is one of the two regional winners of the scholarship.
