Early Morning Stabbing in Lafayette

A victim is recovering in a local hospital this morning after being stabbed. Lafayette police were called to a home in the 300 block of Carver Street. When police arrived they found the suspect Johnny Reed armed with knife attacking his spouse. After refusing to put the knife down an officer was forced to shoot Reed in the hip. Reed and the victim were both taken to a near by hospital
