Early Morning House Fire in Scott

According to Chief Chad Sonnier:
On 12/8/09 at 02:18 Scott Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire located at 949 Delhomme Ave.
Upon arrival at 02:24 units found the structure full of smoke. Entry was made and the seat of the fire was found to be located behind the stove. The fire was extinguished and investigation indicated that an electrical short initiated the fire.
Damage to the structure was minimal.
