E. Cedar Street in Crowley to close for about three weeks

E. Cedar Street in the City of Crowley, between S. Avenue O and Josey Street, will be closed to
through traffic beginning July 23rd, 2012, weather permitting. This work, which is necessary to
reconstruct a portion of E. Cedar Street, is expected to take approximately 3 weeks to complete
(weather permitting). The contractor is required to maintain limited access to portions of this
length of E. Cedar Street, especially for those residences located along E. and W. Andrus Street
(on the north side of E. Cedar Street). However, said access should be limited to residential
traffic only. All other motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are encouraged to use detour routes to
navigate around this construction. We ask that the public be aware of this work and to respect
the safety of equipment and workers who may be in this area. We sincerely appreciate the
public's patience as the reconstruction of E. Cedar Street between S. Avenue O and Josey Street
is conducted.
