DWF Announces Open Dates for White Lake Area

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has designated dates between February 1 and May 31 for the public use of facilities at the White Lake Wetlands Conservation area. Officials say the 71,000 acres of wetlands and marsh land are an ideal for ecology students, bird-watching groups, and nature photographers. DWF also owns and operates a lodge in the area for day and overnight use.
