Two Duson men are in jail after police say they stole $10,000 from a Scott home.
Tyler Olivier and Jacobie Francis allegedly took the money from a safe in a house at which they were working. Police say they were able to escape after paying a witness $300 dollars to keep quiet.
The pair then allegedly went on a shopping spree. Police say they bought nearly $600 on clothing from a local store and purchased a four-wheeler off of Craigslist. Police add that the duo stashed away the rest of the cash. Investigators say they have recovered the clothes, the ATV, and more than $5,500 in cash.
Both Olivier and Francis are being held in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center without bond.
