Duson: Attempted 2nd Degree Murder

An arrest was made today after Duson Police was notified this morning of a patient in ICU with blunt trauma to the head.
Clayton Matthews, Jr. was arrested for 2nd Degree Murder after police investigated the incident and found the suspect attempted to murder his life partner.
Matthews was booked into lafayette parish jail on the charge of attempted 2nd degree murder.
This incident is still under investigation.
