Drug deal leaves 1 murdered and 3 facing charges

(St. Martinville, La.)-On January 16, 2010, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office responded to 911 call regarding a disturbance with shots fired in the parking lot of Breaux Bridge High School. The caller also reported that it appeared that a person was picked up off the ground and loaded into a vehicle. St. Martin Parish Deputies noticed a vehicle (matching the description given to 911) leaving the scene and attempted to stop it. The vehicle refused to stop and Deputies continued following the vehicle to the Emergency Room of St. Martin Hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital it was determined that a male victim had been shot multiple times. The victim, identified as Hilton Noel, 21, Breaux Bridge, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

During the course of the initial investigation, it was determined that this incident occurred during a narcotics transaction. Suspect, Adrione Manuel, 21, Breaux Bridge, had his four month old child in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Currently, the following three suspects are in custody and will be booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

Joshua Castille(Middle)-21-Breaux Bridge-Principal to First Degree Murder

Adrione Manuel(Bottom)-21-Breaux Bridge-Principal to First Degree Murder
