Humidity was lower then we're used to seeing this time of year on Sunday, with dewpoints hanging in the low 60s.
Dry air has stayed on top of Acadiana and aside from keeping the skies clear it has allowed temperatures to feel more comfortable.
Evenings have been cool and the day time highs haven't been quite as oppressive, although still hot.
Enjoy the drier conditions because, we will be getting back to more normal conditions by the middle of the work week.
Monday's forecast will be dry again with temperatures pushing into the low 90s and tropical moisture remaining offshore and out to our east.
By Wednesday rain chances get back to their summer norms with scattered chances late in the afternoon.
