The bulk of the rain event has moved east of the region, however still holding slight pops overnight into early tomorrow as the main front will pass overnight. The boundary should be out of the area by late Saturday giving way to much drier and a slightly cooler airmass. For the remainder of the weekend through Monday, weak ridging build over the region that should shut off the chance for convection.
By the middle of next week, ridging will drift back to the west while tropical moisture is expected to move over the northern Gulf. This along with sea breeze should aid in the development of scattered showers and thunderstorms each day extending through the end of next weekend.
