Dr.Pat Cooper is Officially the New Superintendent for LPSS

Dr.Pat Cooper seals the deal by officially becoming Lafayette Parish School System's new superintendent Tuesday.
We caught up with him right after he signed his contract.
He says now that he's official, he's ready to roll up his sleeves and start working.
Cooper's initial plans are to tackle budget issues and improve schools through out the parish.
Dr. Cooper is scheduled to work part time through January and take the position full time starting February 1st.
