Dozens of kids were kicking for a good cause Saturday afternoon.

Acadiana Karate students held a "break-a-thon" at Cajun Field. They broke boards that were sold for 3 dollars each. For six years now, this fundraiser has generated thousands of dollars for the Miles Perret Cancer Services. This year, more than 24,000 dollars was raised, and within the past six years, more than 120,000 dollars was donated to the center.

All the money raised will go to support Miles Perret Cancer Services.
