Down Power Lines in Evangeline

Due to the high winds in Evangeline Parish,there were several trees and several utility poles down. There are currently about 1200 people without electricity. CLECO has crews and contract crews working on getting the power restored.

Everyone is reminded that you should NOT touch down power lines, do not drive over power lines, and do not remove any tree limbs that are attached to power lines.

Please report any downed power lines to CLECO by calling 1-800-622-6537.
