Double Murder Suspect Arrested in Abbeville

An Abbeville teenager is facing murder charges after two brothers were shot this morning. Police say they received a call of "shots fired" just after 8:00 this morning on Alphonse Street. Police say witnesses identified the suspect as 17-year-old D'Andre Sinegal of Abbeville. Sinegal was found and charged with two counts of First Degree Murder.

The Abbeville Police Department is still conducting interviews and continuing the investigation. Anyone having information in this matter is asked to contact the Abbeville Police Department at 337-893-2511.
