DOTD Treating Icy Roads

Officials with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office say several roads across the parish are freezing over.
Highways 167, 71, and 105 as well as I-49 North of Opelousas up to mile-marker 50 are experiencing heavy ice accumulations. Officials say that fortunatley people are heeding the warnings and are staying off of the roads.
The DOTD is treating the roads with salt.
