DOTD: Larose pontoon bridge closed for repairs

LAROSE, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says the pontoon bridge at Larose is closed to vehicles until further notice, while the department replaces timbers that have deteriorated.
Until it's fixed, drivers can use the Galliano vertical lift bridge or the Belle Vue Swing Bridge.
