DOTD Increasing the Speed Limit on parts of I-49 in St. Landry

Ron Bertinot, from DOTD District 03 District Traffic Engineer came on GMA this morning to talk about how the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will be increasing the speed limit on rural portions of I-49 in Evangeline and St. Landry parishes from 70 mph to 75 mph. The new signs will be installed the week of April 18th. Watch the video attached for all the information.
