DOTD announces lane closure on U.S. 90 for pavement striping

LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that on Saturday, January 26, 2013, U.S. 90 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from the Billeaud Overpass in Broussard to Wall Road in Youngsville to allow crews to replace pavement markings.

This work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting.

There are no vehicle restrictions. Emergency vehicles have access to the area. No detour is necessary for this work.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
