GRAND PRAIRIE, La. - Today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that on Monday, March 11, the Grand Prairie rest area, located on Interstate 49 in St. Landry Parish, and the boat launch to access Dubisson Lake will be closed for renovations.
Renovations for the $2.4 million project include remodeling the restroom and vending facilities and adding a dividing wall at the boat launch area. Parking for the rest area will also be expanded during construction.
The project is expected to last ten months, weather permitting.
