Dirty Dancing at Festivals Acadiens et Creoles

Acadiana was not short on sunshine, music or food on Saturday.
Which was good for the second day of Festivals Acadiens et Creoles in Girard Park.
It's the 38th year for the celebration- keeping cajun and creole culture alive in Acadiana.
However, the dry weather gives a new name to dirty dancing.
The dance floor is covered in dust.
KATC asked Cyndi Faulk "it makes an interesting dance right?"
"Yeah." Faulk answered, "If you like a dust bowl!"
In the last month, we've only had about a half inch of rain; about three and a half inches below our average.
The dry air has dancers kicking-up a dust storm.
"You gotta watch your breathing," Peter Jenssen said. "You'll get cotton mouth."
The dust problem has become so bad on the dance floor that people have resulted to putting bandanas on their face just keep the dust out of their mouth but for those who love dancing, the dust is better than rain.
"It's a lot better than mud!" Jenssen pointed-out.
