A preliminary hearing was held in state district court Thursday for Lee Roy Williams Jr. He's charged with four counts of first degree murder.
Today, we learned more about the killings. The four bodies were found on Labor Day September 6 at a home off Highway 14 in Calcasieu Parish.
According to details released at the preliminary hearing, 29-year old Kendrick Lavergne's body was found with a bullet wound in a front bedroom. The lead detective in the case also testified that the body of 19-year Terry Banks was found in the living room. He had a gunshot wound, blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds.
Also killed were Jessica M. Eugene, 26 and Crystal Dawn Fruge, 28. Eugene had multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma. Fruge suffered a gunshot to the shoulder, multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma. Her body was found in a bedroom.
A forensic scientist also testified that bloody foot prints found in the trailer were made by size 15 boots. Williams was wearing shoes of that size when he was arrested.
Since the brutal crime, the trailer at 5859 Tom Hebert Rd., Lot #70 has been moved to a secure location.
