In February 2000, Brandon Scott Lavergne pleaded guilty in Evangeline Parish to aggravated oral sexual battery.
Initially, he was charged with aggravated burglary and oral sexual battery, but he made a plea deal.
In April 1999, Lavergne was arrested after a woman claimed he broke into her bedroom window while she was asleep.
She says Lavergne attacked her, blindfolded her, tied her hands behind her back and forced her to preform oral sex on him.
The woman says she didn't see the man, but told police sounded like her cousin's boyfriend, Brandon Lavergne.
Lavergne doesn't deny meeting up with the victim that night in April of 1999. He says the victim said he could come over anytime as long as no cars were in the driveway.
He admits to knocking on the window and the victim let him in the front door. He says the oral sex was consensual and when things went too far the victim flew into a rage cursing and punching.
Next, Lavergne says he wrestled and he eventually restrained the victim in a head lock. She then kicked him out and he said he complied heading back to Fort Polk where he was stationed in the military.
Lavergne pled down to a charge of aggravated oral sexual battery and stayed in prison until 2008.
He was on probation until 2010 and is required for life to register as a sex offender.
