While the rainy was not a factor in Thursday night's Halloween celebration, earlier in the day it was a different story. We caught up with a group in River Ranch that, despite the rain, made sure this was the best Halloween ever.
It's wasn't ideal weather for Halloween but this group didn't care.
"It's actually more fun," said 11-year-old Savannah Thomas. "I like the water it's fun."
Six children ran from a four door truck to get candy, soaked, and ready for a sugar rush. Instead of walking door-to-door they had sort of a Halloween taxi service, driven by mom.
"Actually, this has been one of the best ones ever," said parent Kelly Cobb.
The rain did not ruin the fun for a single minute.
"I'm having a lot of fun, but without the rain, it could make it better," said 8-year-old Ian Alam.
But no matter what, at the end of the night, soaking wet, they still had their candy.
