Desperado's Liquor License Suspension Upheld

On December 5, 2012, ATC Agents assisted with a raid detail at Desperado's Cabaret. As a result of the information obtained by the agents and severity of charges and complexity of the investigation, Commissioner Troy Hebert of the Louisiana Office of Alcohol & Tobacco Control granted an emergency suspension of their liquor license.
An administrative hearing was held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, concerning the reinstatement of the license. After hearing testimony and further review, Commissioner Hebert extended the suspension another 30 days and requested that Desperado's provide additional information to ATC. There will be another hearing on January 9, 2013, at 9:30 a.m.
