Derrick Todd Lee Back In Court

PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - A convicted south Louisiana serial killer
was back in a state district court for a hearing related to his
appeal.
The judge on Monday gave attorneys for Derrick Todd Lee four
more months to look over evidence as the case continues.
Lee was convicted of first-degree murder and given a death
sentence in October 2004 for the 2002 death of Charlotte Murray
Pace of Baton Rouge. He was convicted of second-degree murder and
sentenced to life in prison in August 2004 in the death Geralyn
Barr DeSoto.
He's also suspected of killing five other women.
Lee will be back in a West Baton Rouge Parish courtroom in
August.
