DeRidder man arrested in child porn case

DERIDDER, La. (AP) - State police have arrested a DeRidder school band director in a child pornography investigation.
Troopers say 65-year-old Robert McNamee was arrested last week after an Operation Child Watch investigation into child pornography on his computer. A press release from the state police states that a search of McNamee's computer found images of sexually abused children.
He was arrested and booked with distribution of child pornography and booked into the Beauregard Parish Jail.
At the time of his arrest, McNamee was employed by the Beauregard Parish School District as a junior high school band director.
If convicted, McNamee faces up to a $10,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison without parole, probation or any suspension of sentence.
It was unclear whether McNamee has an attorney.
