DEQUINCY, La. (AP) - Authorities say an 81-year-old DeQuincy man was killed in a collision involving a Kansas City Southern train and a pick-up truck.
DeQuincy police officer Doug Phillips tells the American Press Curtis Sandifer died Wednesday after his pickup was struck at railroad crossing. Phillips says the vehicle was dragged about a half mile until it stopped.
Phillips said witnesses reported the train did blow its horn as it traveled down the tracks.
