Deputies: Women Robbed While Leaving Work

Authorities in Iberia Parish are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed two women at gunpoint as they were leaving work. The incident took place just after midnight Wednesday at a lounge in the 500 block of U. S. 90. Sheriff's deputies say the suspect mugged the women as they were leaving the building. Deputies say the suspect stole the victims' cell phones and purses. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a t-shirt and a black bandana around his head and face.
