Deputies: Woman Stole Money and Phone; Threw Purse in River

A Lake Charles woman is behind bars for allegedly stealing another woman's purse. Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputies say Kayla Foster-Hennen threw the victim's purse in a garbage can before moving the trash can out of view of surveillance cameras. Detectives say Foster-Hennen confessed to stealing cash and a cell phone from the purse before tossing the purse into a river. Foster-Hennen is charged with theft.
