Deputies Arrest Crowley Apartment Shooting Suspect

Acadia Parish sheriff's deputies have charged a Crowley man with attempted first-degree murder in connection with an August 17 shooting. Ryan David Babineaux was arrested last Thursday at the Kathy Apartment Complex, the same place where the shooting took place. Babineaux is accused of shooting a 36-year-old man six times as he was getting out of his car. Deputies say an anonymous tip identified Babineaux as the gunman. He is being held in the Acadia Parish Jail on $500,000 bond.
