Event Information - The Louisiana Department of Education has a campaign underway to help more students make it to fourth grade on time. Louisiana retains more students in the early elementary years (K-4th grades) than the national average and the state's goal is to have 75% of kindergarten students arrive in 4th grade on time by 2014.
