Denham Springs Boy Run Over by Mom

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (AP) - Livingston Parish Sheriff's deputies
say a 5-year-old Denham Springs boy died when his mother
accidentally ran over him in their driveway.
Deputies say Justice Bowlin was playing in his driveway
Wednesday afternoon when he was struck by an automobile driven by
his mother, Jerri Lockett.
Livingston Parish Fire Protection District
No. 5 treated the child, then transported him to a hospital in
Baton Rouge where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say an investigation into the death continues, but
deputies think the death was accidental and the mother likely won't
be charged.
