BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 58-year-old Delhi woman has been arrested and booked with three-counts of exploitation of the infirmed.

Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says Lillie W. Griffin was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Richland Parish Prison. It was not immediately known whether she remained in custody or if she has an attorney.

Griffin, a former employee of a Medicaid services provider, purchased three money orders totaling $2,346 on behalf of a person she was assigned to care for. However, the money orders were made payable to Griffin, who deposited two of them into her checking account for personal use.
