Deadline to Apply for Vacant School Seat Tuesday

Tomorrow is the deadline for candidates to apply for the vacant District 4 seat on the Iberia Parish School Board. Raymond "Shoe-Do" Lewis resigned the post after he was elected to the New Iberia City Council. A special board meeting will be held Wednesday night to interview the applicants and select the new board member. The new member will serve until voters go to the polls on April 6 for a special election.
