Day 4 of the search for Micky Shunick started and ended the same; with no sign of her. Volunteers continue to donate money, supplies, and time trying to help in the process of finding her. The K-9 team came out today hoping for a scent, but no evidence has been found thus far.
"I think she's ok, I think she's alive. I think she's out there," Micky's sister Charlene Shunick said.
This evening, the reward for info to find Micky was raised from $10,000 to $20,000 in hopes that it will entice someone to say something.
Police are still working very hard to find her and have received numerous offers from other parish agencies, the FBI, and others if they need more help in the search.
"We are receiving calls on a regular steady basis. So that's a positive. People are still out there. They're still looking for information that could provide a key piece of evidence," Cpl. Paul Mouton said.
As hard as the last few days have been for the family they are still hopeful for the return of Micky.
"Just please, please take care of her and I don't know what you're doing with her but we'd really like her back. We'll give you all the money we have," Charlene Shunick said.
