Daughters of Charity Open New Health Center

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Daughters of Charity Services of New
Orleans will dedicate its new state-of-the-art health center next
week.
The center, and another one the Daughters have opened, are the
first new, permanent primary care facilities to open in the city
since Hurricane Katrina.
The new structure, built around the old health center housed in
a former bank, will consist of a 34,000-square-foot facility that
includes 18 exam rooms, eight dental chairs, medical and dental
labs and a pharmacy.
The facility, which opens on Wednesday, will offer primary care,
pediatrics, dental care, vision care and pharmacy services.
